(06 11 27) Fort William First Nation Network Access Moving Forward

Team members met with Edward Collins and Ian Bannon of Fort William First Nation's Anemki Corporation to discuss access to clients on the Mission. Ed and Ian were enthusiastic about getting the band office connected to provide video conferencing with applications to the health department and administration. An OMNI antennae is to be installed on the Anemki building which houses INAC (100 Anemki Dr.), providing adequate line of sight to existing and prospective clients. Clients to be connected in Phase 1 of the project with FedNor include Wasaya Airways, NAN Finance and the FWFN Band Office. Ian was excited about access to future clients including residential users.
