(06 05 16) Peering with the NOSM Router

Representatives from FedNor, NOSM, North Network and K-Net met to discuss the structure and installation of a new router and bridge to support NOSM activity. Industry Canada’s FedNor sponsored the project which initially involved a router shared by NOSM, and LU now has a dedicated router for NOSM traffic and the Thunder Bay Meet-me switch at the LU POP. The peering will support health applications connecting Aboriginal organizations with Northern Communities. .
