(11-27.2007)KO took part in an Building from Strength ONLINE Workshop November 22-23, 2007. Many communities were connected via K-Net’s bridge throughout the two days including Dryden, Ottawa, Deer Lake, Slate Falls, Kingfisher Lake, North Spirit Lake, Mishkeegogamanag, Sioux Lookout, Balmertown, Maynooth and others. The presentations, discussions and story telling workshops were focused on youth and mental health. Thank you to all for participating and for the host (Centres of Excellence) for recognizing the importance of including First Nations in the planning and ONLINE delivery of this event.
