This program has continued to provide one of the only remaining sources of flexible grant resources focused on renewable and sustainable natural resource activities for First Nation communities and their membership. The Canada Ontario Resource Development Agreement (CORDA) is an agrement between Canada, Ontario and First Nation members in Ontario funded by INAC and the MNR.

Applications must be completed, signed and submitted to: CORDA Office, 123 Paudash Street, RR 2, Keene, ON  K0L 2G0 by October 4, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Safer and Vital Communities Grant (SVC) for the 2010/11 fiscal year will focus on the development and implementation of projects that take an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to preventing crime among children (under age 12) and/or youth (ages 12-25). website

The Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage Program was created to help you celebrate your community, its past and its present. The Program will increase opportunities, through festivals and other events and activities, for local artists and artisans to be involved in their community and for local groups to commemorate their local history and heritage.

Eligible events and activities must be 2 or more days, local - created by and for your community. They must be open and accessible to the public and strongly encourage and promote the participation of everyone in your community.
