First Nation Innovation is a 5-year project that will support First Nations who are researching how current community networks are setup and what is needed to reach future eServices. The partners have published a number of papers that share the e-community journey experiences of Keewaytinook Okimakanak partner First Nations.

Fort Severn Polar Bear Planning Research began in 2005 and carries on through the knowledge of Cree Elders by participating in co-management of the southern Hudson Bay polar bear population. Fort Severn contributes community-based research to provincial and national planning with government and Inuit and Cree Nations.

Climate Change and Mentoring Youth in Science examines the impacts of climate change, offers community-based adaptation solutions and introduces youth to careers in science through land-based science camps.
